Re-Opening a 1961-62 Parkhurst Hockey Wax Pack with Ken Reid from SPORTSNET!

In my humble opinion, one of the best sports anchors in the country, Ken Reid from Sportsnet, helped me re-open this vintage 1961-62 Parkhurst Hockey Pack live on camera. For those of you unaware, Ken is a lifelong collector, so much so, that he has written a pair of excellent books on hockey cards! His passion for the hobby is infectious and it was a lot of fun to film this video with him. Please watch as I hand Ken a pack of 1961 Parkhurst hockey cards, and see us both get the thrill of discovering what’s inside. This 61 year old Parkhurst hockey pack was kept from childhood by the original owner who opened it “one time,” and this is only the second time the pack has ever been opened!
