Having recently retired I decided it was time to “let go” of my childhood collection of vintage 1960’s sports cards. While searching the internet I came across AA Sports Cards and its proprietor, Mike Chark. What piqued my interest in following up with Mike was his extensive experience in the sports memorabilia industry, the plethora of complimentary reviews, and, most conveniently, he lives a short distance from my home in Vancouver. We arranged to meet for coffee to review my collection and the best strategy to sell my cards which we agreed was by consignment through Ebay auction. I was impressed by Mike’s honesty, genuine enthusiasm and engaging personality. At no time did I feel pressured and I think his commission charge is very reasonable.
Since late 2024, Mike, and his associate, Dave, have coordinated over a dozen Ebay auctions. He sorts cards into lots which he feels will maximize the auction outcome. Mike provides very detailed descriptions of the cards, describes the grading condition of the cards and provides clear photographs. I believe Mike’s assiduous attention to his Ebay presentation is instrumental in garnering 100% positive reviews from thousands of purchasers. Because prospective purchasers know precisely what they are buying, is as advertised, I’m confident this maximizes the auction bidding.
