1950’s VANCOUVER MOUNTIES BASEBALL COLLECTION w/ VIDEO SHOT AT ICONIC NAT BAILEY STADIUM

Recently, I was contacted by a very nice lady who as a teenager, was part of the Vancouver Mounties Booster Club. She joined the fan club right away during the teams first season (1956) and continued into the next decade when the team was re-named the Vancouver Capilanos. She relished being an ambassador for this Pacific Coast League baseball team who at various times were the main farm team for the Baltimore Orioles, Milwaukee Braves, Minnesota Twins and later on, the Seattle Pilots and the Montreal Expos. Over her long run as a liason between the team and it’s fans, she accumulated a treasure trove of autographed baseballs, team signed bats and photos. When she decided it was time to sell the collection, she contacted me. After purchasing the collection, I felt it was appropriate to film a video where the team played their home games, Capilano Stadium. The ballpark was re-named Nat Bailey Stadium in 1978. If you have a collection of autographed baseballs, team signed bats and photos or other vintage sports memorabilia, please contact me. I can be reached at 604-726-1774 or by e-mail at info@aasportscards.com or mchark@shaw.ca
